VA proj2. 2 points of view

I went back a seriously re thought the form of my side of the two points of view. Me and Angie didnt really get to work too closely on the first one and I fell short.

On the whole I think your video is successful though in section and in tone I thought it was a little confusing if you were con or pro. I think it could easily be changed by altering some of the wording. I think the section where it gets a little hard to tell is the section on unions near the end. You talk about how they are setting up shop in china and will be paying them an american wage. to some people this could be considered a good thing, even after putting in the bit about american imperialism. Some people think that american imperialism is awesome!

I think the music that you put with the project is well chosen, but could use some audio normalizing. by that I mean that the audio is very loud, this plays a big part when you are using silence a an element as you do at the beginning. Your using the audio at the beginning then it cuts out to grab attention, it does that but i think if you were to lower it to a more subtle level it wouldn't take away from the visuals.

As you said I think the beginning is the weakest section, I say weakest because I don't think there is anything terribly wrong with it, the ending section is just a little more seamlessly put together.

the section at the beginning where the images of the bodies are flashing with the text over them is a bit hard to read. I think there is just too much type there, maybe keep it to a few words or a phrase.

I think your overall aesthetic is well done, it fits in with american apparel and works as a sort of anti commercial, which is after all what you are creating here.

good work, keep it up, stuff like this will get you far.
